Minister of Songs
Mother of three beautiful children and grandmother of seven. I wouldn’t be here or anywhere in life without the Lord’s divine intervention in my life in 1993. After a 5-year addiction to crack cocaine, I heard about New Life for Girls through a young lady I was doing drugs with. She had no interest in going and little did she know God had heard and answered my prayer to save me, I didn’t want to die in addiction or leave my small kids motherless. I went into the program a few days later and had an encounter with the Lord Jesus on Easter Sunday. New Life for Girls is a Christian faith-based program for women with life controlling issues. I graduated from the program 1994, moved to York with my children, went back to school and got an associate degree. I currently work for WellSpan Health Heart Failure Dept-Medical Assistant. I attend The Chapel under the leadership of Pastor Larry Colbert. God has blessed me to share my testimony of his goodness and minister through songs in local churches, here and abroad, women’s conferences, and prisons. I thank God for all that He is doing in and through me, my life has been forever changed by his power.
Yvette Jones/ Founder and Dance/Evangelist Ministry
Different Wings Ministry was founded in September 2007 by sister Yvette Jones. Different Wings Ministry started as a liturgical dance ministry at Bethel A.M.E. Church under the leadership of the late Dr. Rev Lewis, who had a vision for the church. The Ministry started with little ones who were named God’s Little Angels. Before they knew it, they had over 12 little angels ministering to the congregation that was touched and anointed by God. This ministry has now transformed into a powerful men and women’s ministry that has touched the lives of many people around the country through the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Different Wings Ministry is a group of broken men and women that has been transformed like beautiful butterflies and that is what makes them so SPECIAL. Each member LOVES the LORD and is allowing Him to heal and use them in such a profound way. This God-fearing group loves to minister to others. God has anointed sister Yvette Jones and all her leaders of this ministry to do His will.
Different Wings Ministry is open to all ages who need other men and women to help them move forward in their journey of healing.
