February is teen dating violence month and UYM and our colleagues will provide awareness and resources. Join us for the 2nd Annual Love Smart: Navigating Teen Relationships Safely, an engaging and educational workshop designed to empower teens and their parents with the tools to build healthy relationships, recognize warning signs of unhealthy behaviors, and stay safe in today’s digital world. This event aims to foster open communication, raise awareness, and equip families with practical strategies to prevent teen dating violence and foster healthy relationships.

Join UYM and several community supporters for this human trafficking awareness event in Charles County. Join us for a Human Trafficking Awareness Seminar on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10 am – 2:00 pm at the Potomac Heights Baptist Church (37 Glymont Rd, Indian Head, MD 20640). This event is FREE to the public (12yrs to adults). Human trafficking is a public health issue and an epidemic that affects everyone, whether directly or indirectly. That’s why Unstoppable You Ministries, in collaboration with JPAR Real Estate Professionals, Potomac Heights Baptist Church, and Simply -Q- Bar-B-Que, are humbled to host a screening of the documentary, Blind Eyes Opened: The Truth About Sex Trafficking In America. Blind Eyes Opened features the stories of six courageous women who were trafficked in America. Their accounts expose the reality that sex trafficking is happening in the United States. This should cause us to pause and think about our own communities. While their experiences are difficult to hear, their testimonies are full of hope. This documentary is rated PG-13.
