Cassie’s advocacy journey began with her own experience as a survivor, igniting a deep sense of empathy and a fierce determination to help others navigate the challenges of recovery and healing. Recognizing the critical need for support and resources for survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation, Cassie embarked on a mission to provide comprehensive assistance and empower survivors to reclaim their lives.

Through her community educational efforts, Cassie emphasizes the importance of prevention and intervention. She equips community members with knowledge and resources to identify potential trafficking situations, intervene effectively, and support survivors in accessing the help they need to rebuild their lives. Cassie also serves as the Survivor Advocate & Community Educator with Brave the Darkness, LLC
