Michelle Melendez is a passionate advocate for raising awareness about abuse and sex trafficking, driven by the belief that knowledge is one of the most powerful tools for prevention and protection. These threats are constantly evolving, and communities must stay informed, not only to identify the signs but to safeguard those we love. Advocacy and education are key, and Michelle is committed to helping expand both through intentional fundraising and outreach.

Michelle’s journey began with volunteering for Unstoppable You Ministries, whose mission aligns deeply with her values. Their dedication to equipping individuals through empowerment, education, and transformation inspired her to get more involved in nonprofit advocacy and support. In addition to Michelle’s passion, she brings a strong foundation in communication, organization, and technology. Michelle is tech-savvy and proficient in tools like Microsoft Office and Canva, and she has applied these skills to collect survey data, design materials, and support event coordination—both in academic settings and real life. With college coursework in business marketing, Michelle understands how to communicate a mission effectively and build strategies that drive engagement. Michelle’s strengths also lie in her soft skills: empathy, emotional intelligence, and thrive in people-centered environments. Michelle truly enjoys building relationships, listening to stories, and helping others feel seen and supported. As the Director of Fundraising, Michelle is excited to combine her heart for advocacy with her skills in outreach and engagement to help further the mission of Unstoppable You Ministries and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.
